Underwater Hull Cleaning service extended to include the cleaning of vessels’ niche areas for vessels on route to New Zealand to comply with new biofouling requirements: In May 2018, the Craft Risk Management Standard (CRMS) for Biofouling on vessels arriving to New Zealand which was implemented by the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) in 2014 became mandatory.

Divetech Marine has successfully completed 2 cases of underwater installation of rope guards for vessels: A rope guard functions as a protective barrier for the propeller shaft, to protect them against rope and fishing net entanglement. Once ropes and fishing nets have fouled the propeller and or the propeller shaft, the rotation of the propeller may cause such fouling to abrade the stern shaft seal of the vessel causing oil leakage.
